Living and Loving Life

We are living and loving life right now!

Darryl is still teaching and enjoying it! God is definitely helping him, have grace and creativity with the students! There is a month and a half of school left and at the end Darryl will have been there for half the school year! Which is just crazy! We still aren't entirely sure where all this is going, but trying to take it a step at a time and trust the Lord with the unknowns! Somedays that's easy, others not as much! Darryl has also been getting to use his motorcycle fairly consistently, he rides to school most days and sometimes takes a little detour on the way home :)! I'm so glad he has it and is able to use it! It has been a blessing to us! I'm looking forward to a ride sometime soon! He still needs to get his lic. so he can take passengers!
I've started a few new venues of my own! I'm selling tastefully simple. It is a home taste testing show. I'm really enjoying it! My goal right now is to do two parties a month! It is a good way for me to get out of the house, interacting with other adults, make a little cash, and I enjoy it! It is actually a perfect fit for now, because when I thought about working I felt like it needed to encompass all four things! After I started doing that, friends of ours approached me about taking over their business finances, which is also something I like to do. So I'm doing that 4 hours a week. My mom has so graciously agreed to keep the kids while I do that! Which is a huge blessing! I'm enjoying that too! It was/is hard sometimes though, not to feel a little guilty or bad for leaving my kids...just because it is something new for us. I know lots of people do it, it is just new for us! But it is going well and I'm finding a lot of life in it!
Anyway we have many things that we are looking forward to over the next two 1/2 months, a beach wknd away with friends & no kids, a strawberry festival or 2, all you can eat barnstormer tickets compliments of turkey hill, our 4th anniversary, end of the school year, a trip to the obx, and my sister Cindy coming home from Hawaii! We are blessed!
Here at our lovely home, I've been enjoying my flowers, the kids are enjoying their sandbox, and we are enjoying hosting a Saturday morning prayer time with other believers, as well as a small group on Tuesday nights!
WOW as I'm writing, I feel so full and overflowing with excitement and thankfulness to the Lord for all that he is doing right now! Speaking of full and overflowing, Jon, does the motions to running over, which is just too cute. Pray for us, colds and sickness are still going round and round here! As soon as one cold is over it seems as though another one starts!

Well that's all for now! Have a blessed lovely day!
